Software, servers, and the people who use them. I work across development, infrastructure, and the day-to-day reality of running things.
The tools. And the thinking.
A working toolkit across development, infrastructure, and operations. This starter skills list can be refined as the portfolio grows.
More than a Minecraft server.
AvengeTech grew from a Factions server into a network, a business, and a community. Built from the ground up, and learned from every day.
A Minecraft network. An online business. A community built from scratch.
A decade in the blocks.
Approximately 10 years in the Minecraft ecosystem, including more than 20 freelance jobs for smaller servers, contract work, network development, and production operations.
Client work includes a bridge-building competition server commissioned by Spark Universe for National Highways, and a classic prison server built for Zeqa Network.
A bridge-building competition server for a National Highways weekend event.
Commissioned by Spark Universe to create a Minecraft server for a weekend bridge-building competition hosted by National Highways (formerly Highways England).
The server used a plot world. Each plot contained two sides of a city separated by water, with an empty span for players to design and build their bridge.
A classic Minecraft prison server, built from the ground up in one month.
Players progressed through ranks A–Z, with daily and weekly challenges, loot boxes, and a dungeon looting system.
I also built pets, death animations, PvP events, and the smaller features that brought the server together.
Development is one part of it. Infrastructure, support, community management, and keeping a live service running are part of the work too.
